Trevor Seymour

Principal

Rachel’s ballet training began in Maine. She furthered her training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and BalletMet as a trainee. MSB credits include the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, Harpsichord in Beauty and the Beast, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the Glove Seller in Can-Can Parisien. She studies Marketing at the University of Maine and is a member of the MSB faculty.

Meet the Dancer

Q:  When did you start dancing?

A:  2-3 years old

 

Q:  What is your favorite ballet?

A:  Four Temperaments by George Balanchine

Q:  What is your favorite ballet role and why?

A:  Russian Soloist in “The Nutcracker" because of the rush of energy and excitement it brings to not only myself but the audience as well.

 

Q:  Ballet shoe of choice?

A:  So Danca Stretch Canvas

Q:  What are your educational/career goals?

A:  Studying biochemistry and public health with the hopes of someday becoming a doctor or medical professional

 

Q:  What are your hobbies?

A:  I listen to a lot of music. My favorite artists would have to be Mitski, Lana Del Ray, and Billie Eilish.
