Rachel Paradis
Principal
Rachel’s ballet training began in Maine. She furthered her training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and BalletMet as a trainee. MSB credits include the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, Harpsichord in Beauty and the Beast, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the Glove Seller in Can-Can Parisien. She studies Marketing at the University of Maine and is a member of the MSB faculty.
Meet the Dancer

Q: When did you start dancing?
A: When I was 5 years old.
Q: What is your favorite ballet?
A: George Balanchine’s Serenade.

Q: What is your favorite ballet role and why?
A: Anything choreographed by Balanchine. I love the importance of musicality in his pieces and that his choreography pushes the boundaries of classical ballet.

A: Freed of London
