Katie DeSantis

Katie grew up training at MSB before going on to dance at Marymount Manhattan College. She studied nursing at SMCC and became a Certified Nursing Assistant and group fitness instructor. Her versatility has led to roles such as Princess Elena in The Firebird, the Gypsy Queen in Don Quixote, and Dark Angel in Serenade.

A: 3-ish
Q: What is your favorite ballet role and why?
A: The Dark Angel from Serenade. No story, open for lots of interpretation.
Q: What is your ballet shoe of choice?
A: Socks now, Gaynor Minden back in the day.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Cooking, gardening, trying to outwit a 4-year-old.
Q: Anything else you would like people to know about you?
A: I love grocery shopping- like for real.
