Meet the Dancer

Q: When did you start dancing?
A: Age three.
Q: What is your favorite ballet role, and why?
A: It’s between a Swan in Swan Lake and the Enchanted Rose in Beauty and the Beast. A Swan because it feels so powerful to be dancing such in such an iconic role in the corps de ballet, the Enchanted Rose because my only focus is creating magic and finding an emotional connection with the audience.
Q: What is your pointe shoe of choice?
A: Generally, I stick with Suffolks.
Q: What are your educational/career goals?
A: For now, I'm focusing on dancing and teaching. My biggest goals as a dance teacher are to understand and accommodate the individual needs of each dancer and create an environment where students feel safe and comfortable being themselves.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Traveling, exploring new places, teaching new tricks to my dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
Q: What's your favorite quote?
A: "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light."
-Albus Dumbledore
