This vibrant and adventurous ballet brings Miguel de Cervantes' timeless tale to life. Celebrated for its colorful characters and spirited choreography, the ballet follows the whimsical journey of the idealistic nobleman Don Quixote and his loyal squire, Sancho Panza, as they embark on a quest to find the enchanting Dulcinea. Meanwhile, the feisty Kitri and her handsome beau, Basilio, battle against her greedy father and a wealthy suitor. Amidst a backdrop of lively village dances, comedic misadventures, and the spirited Spanish culture, the couple faces numerous obstacles. With the help of Don Quixote, Kitri and Basilio's love triumphs over all challenges. With music composed by Ludwig Minkus, this ballet is a joyful celebration of love, chivalry, and adventure.
