Claire Gaudrault

Apprentice

Currently a high school student, Claire began dancing at MSB at age three. Favorite credits include Marzipan in The Nutcracker, Entertainers in Cinderella, and Whoopie Ty Ti Yo in Western Roundup. When she isn’t dancing, she can be found pursuing musical theater, playing piano, or studying languages. 

Meet the Dancer

Q:  When did you start dancing?

A:  I started ballet when I was three years old in Ms. Juliette’s Music and Movement class.

 

Q:  What is your favorite ballet role, and why?

A:  My favorite role to dance is Waltz of the Flowers Corps in The Nutcracker. The choreography and music are so iconic, and performing it onstage at Merrill Auditorium is magical.

 

Q:  What is your favorite quote?

A:  “I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.”

Q:  What are your hobbies?

A:  Outside of dance, I enjoy playing piano and flute, doing musical theater, writing, singing, studying, and reading.

 

Q:  What is your ballet shoe of choice?

A:  I love Bloch pointe shoes and currently wear Bloch Synthesis.
