Meet the Dancer

Q: When did you start dancing?
A: I started dancing in November of 2019, so about 5 years! I took baby ballet classes as a toddler but stopped before it became too serious.
Q: What is your favorite ballet role, and why?
A: My favorite ballet role is a Snowflake in George Balanchine's choreography Nutcracker. It's so magical to get to dance onstage with all of the snow swirling around you!
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: “A girl should be two things: who and what she wants”
- Coco Chanel
Q: What are your educational/career goals?
A: I am a senior in high school, and I want to major in biology with a minor or second major in dance! I aim to go into medicine, specifically intensive care pediatrics.
Q: What's is your ballet shoe of choice?
A: Russian Rubins - but they were discontinued! I'm currently trying to find a replacement, and the best I've found is the R-Class 30's.
